Board Audits

IOD provides self-assessment questionnaires and structured inventories to evaluate the board of directors' overall effectiveness, its relationship with the staff, and its perceived need for change in the board's size, composition, structure, etc. The results of the audit provide the basis for clarifying the boundaries between board and staff roles and responsibilities,and for developing a high level of functioning among board members.
